VOTE!
The day is here. It's time to pick your next president... not to mention senators, representatives, and the rest of the gang! In the spirit of election day, I've selected some of my favorite red, white, and blue wedding details from the past couple of years. If you still have ballot fever after making the big decisions, feel free to have a fun vote for your favorite detail by leaving a comment!

that cake is awesome! what's on top of it?

ReplyDeleteThat cake was for a bride and groom who spend a lot of time kayaking on the Maine coast, where the wedding was held. Two plastic kayaks topped the cake, and little candy rocks and miniature "lobster traps" gave it some Maine flair! It is one of the cutest cakes I have photographed, and it was so appropriate for the couple.
Although I find all these stories beautiful and romantic, Gabs & Eugene's story brought a smile to my face. Good luck!

ReplyDeleteI gotta vote for Amanda and Brandyn. Being a former poor college student myself I think the scavenger hunt idea was brilliant. Also being an alumni from the same college (I recognized where they were the instant I saw the park bench and dorms) the spot Brandyn chose was excellent. Those photos below don't do justice to how nice that area is.

ReplyDeleteI vote for Amanda and Brandyn! Whenever I am around them, their love for each other shines right through. Brandyn was also genius in picking the most romantic/perfect way to ask Amanda to marry him. When she first told me that she had news to tell me, I immediately knew what she had to tell me. The look on her face just gave it away. They are both so happy together and deserve to win!

ReplyDeleteMy vote is for Amanda and the love of her life. The two of them are college sweethearts who compliment one another in every way. When you ask Amanda about Brandyn her face lights up. This couple has worked so hard for the past several years at everything they are involved in. The two have immersed themselves in the values of life-family, education, career, and of course love, honesty and respect. I hold the two of them in such high regards! Besides, who would not want to photograph those smiles!

Amanda and Brandyn have my vote. They know how to have a good time together without taking eachother too seriously. They are such hard workers and deserve a little help in being the couple to be photographed! Did I mention their smiles? Oh, and Brandyn also gets my vote because he passed my BCI check!
