His name is Traver...

Mmmmm... leaves.

Traver had a great time in downtown Concord enjoying the sights, sounds, and flavors of fall. This portrait was mom's favorite, so I am giving everyone a sneak peek of it! More photos of baby and family to come...

More from Matt and Amanda

Matt and Amanda were so much fun, it was hard to call this wedding "work"! I loved all of the stylish details of their day - you could really see their personalities in all of their choices. My favorite moment of the day? The bride and groom rocking the processional with Journey's "Don't Stop Believing."

Amanda was nervous before the ceremony, but it's hard to tell from the serene look on her face in the beautiful shots of her getting ready.

I loved Amanda's fresh gardenia headpiece. Simple and classic.

Amanda's brother Justin performed the beautiful, personal wedding ceremony.

The groomsmen were absolutely hilarious. They had me laughing throughout the day.

The bridesmaids were gorgeous in green, and so much fun to be around!

Matt and Amanda chose to nix a typical cake for something more up their alley - ice cream sandwiches! Perfect for a hot August wedding day.

Fresh grass in galvanized containers - my new favorite centerpiece idea.

My assistant Matt got the wonderful bird's eye view of the ceremony, and captured this awesome moment when the flower girl came up the aisle so excitedly. What a lovely wedding!

I love it when a plan comes together.

We didn't have the luxury of a snazzy A-Team van for our ride to Castle in the Clouds, but my amazing assistant Matt and I were able to collaborate on a very cool set of vintage style images for Matt and Amanda's wedding. Matt shot the Polaroid portrait of the couple with his sx-70, and I shot them showing it off.

Look for more of their wedding coming up in a few...

Hooray! Matt and Amanda are married!

Stay tuned for some of the highlights of their awesome wedding coming later today...

Congratulations Laura and Chris!

I don't know what the best part of Laura and Chris's wedding was: the fun bridesmaids and groomsmen... the super cute ring bearers (both June birthday boys!) and adorable flower girl... the smiles from the happy couple... the gorgeous setting of Castle in the Clouds... or maybe the cupcakes? I had a fantastic time documenting it all.

The incredible cup-and-cake was beautiful - and delicious!

Brady lets his aunt and uncle know that he loves them!

A perfect trolley for flower girl Molly!

The newlyweds had a moment of privacy after the ceremony in the miniature room hidden in the Castle.

My talented assistant Matt captured the two images above during the ceremony.

Be Their Guest

I was so excited today when the delivery man came with Megan and Ted's guest book! It looks great. So many of their friends and relatives left kind words about this couple when voting was going on for the engagement story contest, and I think Megan and Ted's guests will love seeing the photos that they helped make possible at their wedding next month!

Megan and Ted's Engagement Session

I had a fantastic time with Megan and Ted on the Maine coast last weekend! Megan and Ted were the winners of my guest book contest, and it was wonderful to finally meet the couple who inspired so many of their friends and family members to come vote for their love story. They are such a sweet couple, it is easy to see why they were so popular with voters!

After a few sprinkles earlier in the day, the sky opened up and we got perfect spring weather and beautiful light at Short Sands Beach and Cape Neddick. Megan and Ted's handsome dog Buddy was able to join a few shots as well, and he had a great time running on the beach with his pal Maisy - check out their pup portraits below, plus some of my other favorite shots of the happy couple!

Coney Island High

The Holga is technically a plastic toy camera; the two setting choices for exposure are (1) an image of a cloudy sky and (2) an image of a sunny sky. The folks at Holga step up their game a little by giving *four* choices for focus: A mountain, a group of people, a family of three, and a single person. Rumor has it that on some models, the single person is a distinguished graduate, wearing cap and gown. Not so on my Holga 120, but it still takes some pretty smart pics. The following were all taken at Coney Island during the summer of 2007. (I am thinking about enriching my all-digital wedding coverage by adding a roll or two of medium format shots to each package; any interested brides & grooms out there?)

The venerable Cyclone looms in the distance... but the real attraction is this pig garbage can who, like Otis Redding, wears overalls in lieu of Continental clothing and a Stetson hat.

The best view of Brooklyn.

Classic.

Coney Island is for the kids.

Rocket; Fuel.

Brooklyn Beer served up by a pre-minifig waitress doll. Life is sweet.

Clams on the half shell... and roller skates!

Some lovely subway art in Brooklyn.

Not the most high-tech spook house around... which just makes it all the more menacing.

The tiniest tea party.
